Direct marketing is simply a one to one (or direct) approach that builds a relationship with the prospect or customer. If you can define your target down to an street or email address, Direct Marketing is a powerful technique for creating awareness, inquiry and brand preference.
How can you improve response?
It all starts with data
The right database is critical. Simple Truths purchases data from many sources like Yellow Pages, True Local, and White pages, or we compile it ourselves. It goes without saying, the more current the data, the better.
Integration of the tools
Integration refers to what you do with the data. Typically, we would direct mail a prospect, email them, call them, and direct mail them again, (or fax – whatever is the prospect’s preferred method of communication) as part of our process of building interest in the product and generating a lead.

Regardless of the medium used , the creative must be relevant, informative, and compelling.

Beer coasters as a recruiting tool? Why not! When you are looking for part time fire fighters in a small country town, the local pub or club seemed a good place to start. Simple Truths developed these beer coasters and posters to publicise NSW Fire Fighter’s need. Response was exceptional – all roles filled.
